Our camp is designed to help children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence — all while having a brilliant time in a safe and supportive environment.
At MyActive Cheadle, children can enjoy a varied activity programme making use of the centre’s excellent leisure facilities. Alongside our usual mix of sports, creative activities, team games and enrichment sessions, children will also have the opportunity to take part in supervised swimming sessions as part of the camp programme where available. Swimming is a fantastic way for children to stay active, build water confidence, develop independence and enjoy a fun, healthy activity in a safe and structured setting.
Why Children Love Koala Klubs at Cannock Cricket Club
Children aged 5–7 attending Koala Klubs take part in an activity-based programme where the main focus is supervised sports, arts and crafts, swimming where available, and wider active learning opportunities, rather than general childcare.
At our standard Koala Klubs camps, children choose from organised sports sessions, creative arts and crafts activities, team games and enrichment activities. Where swimming is included in the programme, sessions are supervised and structured to help children enjoy the water safely, build confidence and stay active.
At our Bear Grylls themed camps, children take part in adventurous Forest School-style activities alongside structured sports sessions and wider activity-based experiences. These activities are planned to keep children active, engaged and learning new skills throughout the day, while supporting confidence, creativity and teamwork in a safe and supervised environment.
Any care provided, including registration, breaks, lunch and transition times, is incidental to the delivery of these main activities.
Children aged 8 and over attending Koala Klubs take part in an activity-based programme where the main focus is structured sports, creative activities, swimming where available, outdoor learning and skill-building experiences, rather than general childcare.
At our standard Koala Klubs camps, children can choose from a range of organised sports sessions, team games, creative arts and crafts, swimming activities where available, and wider enrichment activities designed to keep them active, challenged and engaged throughout the day.
At our Bear Grylls themed camps, children aged 8+ take part in adventurous Forest School-style activities alongside structured sports sessions, with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills and teamwork in an exciting and active environment.
Activities for this age group are planned to offer greater independence, challenge and choice, while still being delivered in a safe, supervised and supportive setting. The programme encourages children to try new activities, build friendships, develop practical skills and grow in confidence.
Any care provided, including registration, breaks, lunch and transition times, is incidental to the delivery of these main activities.
