Koala Klubs holiday camps are designed for primary school-aged children. The exact age range may vary slightly depending on the venue or programme, 

so parents should check the specific camp details when booking.

Children must have passed their 5th Birthday before they are able to attend. WE CANNOT ACCEPT CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 5

Each day includes a fun mix of 10 sports and arts sessions, themed sessions and opportunities for children to relax and make friends. Activities are planned to keep children engaged, safe and happy throughout the day.

Does my child need to be able to swim?


No, your child does not need to be able to swim to attend. Any swimming or water-based activities will be fully supervised by a qualified teacher. All under 8s will have a structred swim lesson each day, and children will only take part in activities that are suitable for their confidence and ability level. Please let us know in advance

Please let us know in advance if your child is a non-swimmer or has any concerns around water, so we can support them appropriately.

What should my child bring

What happens if my child is nervous or attending for the first time?

Does my child need to be able to swim?

 Children should bring a packed lunch, refillable water bottle, suitable clothing, comfortable shoes and any medication they may need. We also recommend bringing a coat or sun hat depending on the weather, as some activities may take place outdoors.

If a child becomes unwell, staff will contact the parent or emergency contact provided. Children will be cared for safely while arrangements are made for collection if needed.

Our staff are experienced in helping children settle in. We welcome new children warmly, introduce them to the group and help them join activities at their own pace. Many children quickly build confidence once they get involved.
