Why Children Love Koala Klubs at Tamworth
* Large outdoor space for adventure activities
* Friendly, experienced and caring staff
* Safe, structured and exciting programme
* Great mix of sports, creativity and adventure
* Helps children make new friends
* Builds confidence, resilience and teamwork
* Something different every single day
Children aged 5–7 attending Koala Klubs take part in an activity-based programme where the main focus is supervised sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor learning, rather than general childcare. At our standard Koala Klubs camps, children choose from organised sports sessions and creative arts and crafts activities. At our Bear Grylls themed camps, children take part in adventurous Forest School activities alongside structured sports sessions. These activities are planned to keep children active, engaged and learning new skills throughout the day, while supporting confidence, creativity and teamwork in a safe and supervised environment. Any care provided, including registration, breaks, lunch and transition times, is incidental to the delivery of these main activities.
children aged 8+, with the same emphasis on activity-based provision rather than general childcare:
Children aged 8 and over attending Koala Klubs take part in an activity-based programme where the main focus is structured sports, creative activities, outdoor learning and skill-building experiences, rather than general childcare. At our standard Koala Klubs camps, children can choose from a range of organised sports sessions, team games, creative arts and crafts, and wider enrichment activities designed to keep them active, challenged and engaged throughout the day.
At our Bear Grylls themed camps, children aged 8+ take part in adventurous Forest School activities alongside structured sports sessions, with opportunities to develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills and teamwork in an exciting outdoor environment.
Activities for this age group are planned to offer greater independence, challenge and choice, while still being delivered in a safe, supervised and supportive setting. The programme encourages children to try new activities, build friendships, develop practical skills and grow in confidence. Any care provided, including registration, breaks, lunch and transition times, is incidental to the delivery of these main activities.
